Your site is a relaxing place to be Looby. I knew about the crafts and cooking of course but the frugality, and above all the decluttering, are a big transformation. (I’ve just spent a night in your old bedroom – enough said)
It’s spooky that we should start blogging at the same time. Your site looks really good. I’m using Blogger but I do like the look of WordPress so I will have to check it out.

Hi! I came across your blog yesterday and had a good read. Very interesting to follow your journey towards simpler living, something that is always so much harder in a city and did you ever pick an expensive one! I was amazed that you went to the Yukon in the middle of winter when sane folks head up at summer solstice instead. I’ve lived through -60C; it’s not something I’m willing to ever risk again. But it sounds like you had balmy arctic weather on your trip. I share your MEC addiction, but since I live over 600km from the nearest store, I just asked them to never send me a catalogue again! I am an “outdoorsy” person, but I still can’t justify it. Looking forward to your next installment – we’ve seen some of your beautiful jewellery, would be nice to see some of your cards as well!
